FAQ
The app can't see the dish position
- Your phone must be connected to the Starlink router's Wi-Fi (not mobile data).
- Allow MIZAR to access the local network: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → MIZAR.
- Only Starlink business accounts provide position. Enable it in the Starlink app or website: Location Request Mode = LOCAL.
- After powering on the dish, wait a few minutes for it to boot.
Dish position drops out while driving
The dish reports coordinates only while Starlink internet is working: no satellite connection means no position. Dishes can have a speed-of-movement limit. For example, in Ukraine dishes registered via the Diia app work only up to 75 km/h: above that the dish turns off internet and stops reporting coordinates. MIZAR then navigates by phone GPS and switches back to the dish as soon as you slow down and it reconnects.
What does "Spoofing" mean
Your phone's GPS reports a point farther than the threshold (150 m by default) from the dish position — a sign of GPS spoofing. Navigation then follows the dish, and the place GPS "moved" you to is shown with a red marker.
How do I cancel my subscription
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → MIZAR. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the subscription screen in MIZAR and tap Restore Purchases.
Does it work offline
Dish position and guidance along an already planned route work offline. Address search and planning a new route need a connection.
