Privacy Policy

This policy covers the MIZAR iOS app and the mizarnav.com website. Data controller: Anton Martynenko, sole proprietor (FOP), Ukraine, support@mizarnav.com.

In short

• No accounts, no collection of your data on our servers, no ads, no tracking.
• Your position is processed on your phone.
• Trip logs stay on your phone and are shared only if you send them yourself.

Data the app processes

• Starlink dish position — read from the dish on your local network. It never leaves your phone.
• Phone GPS position (with your permission) — for comparison with the dish and as a fallback. It never leaves your phone.
• Search queries and routes — to find an address and plan a route, the app sends the query text and the route's start and end coordinates to a search and routing service. These requests contain no name, email or device identifiers.
• Map — provided by Apple Maps (MapKit) under Apple's privacy policy.
• Trip history, saved places, settings — on your phone only. Trip history is kept up to 90 days, technical logs up to 14 days, then deleted automatically.

Purchases

Subscription payments are processed by Apple. We receive no card or Apple ID details — only anonymized sales statistics from Apple.

Technical logs

If you send us a trip log for diagnostics, it contains the trip's coordinates and times. We use it only to find the problem and delete it once resolved or on your request.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

You can delete trip history in the app at any time, or delete the app together with all its data. For data questions, email support@mizarnav.com.

Changes

We will announce material changes to this policy in the app or on this page.
